Ale Guzzetti is one of the first artists in Italy to begin research into interactive art. Since 1983 he has been working on the shape and electronic circuits of sound-emitting sculptures. These sculptures are composed of torch blown glass and various everyday plastic objects assembled together according to their shape and nest electronic circuits built by the artist. Such circuits can emit sounds, noises, voices and are subsequently able to generate brief sound sequences or recite fragments of poetic verses.
